A good question that every Tea Party group and conservative should be asking the Occupy Wall Street crowd at the DNC this week: how do you feel about Barack Obama and his wife Michelle leaving the White House in January and moving to a $35 million estate on the beach in Kailua, Hawaii that Obama’s largest donors and socialite friends are fundraising right now to purchase for him in thanks for whatever favors he’ll be doing them between now and his last day in office?
Isn’t this kind of the thing that Occupy Wall Street is against, or something?
EXCLUSIVE: Two days after FoxNews.com revealed possible White House involvement in the Colombian prostitution scandal, the lead federal investigator said for the first time that White House personnel may have been involved — despite administration claims to the contrary.
President Obama said Libyan protestors used an anti-Muslim film as an excuse to attack the U.S. consulate in Libya, but dodged explaining why the consulate wasn’t better protected on the anniversary of 9/11.
According to Mohammad Qatanani, Imam of one of the largest mosques in New Jersey, free speech that is critical of Islam poses a national security threat and “should be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security,” The Blaze reported Thursday.
“We, as Americans, have to put limits and borders [on] freedom of speech,” he told The Blaze.
"He explained that while Americans may ‘have the freedom’ to speak their mind, ultimately, they ‘have no right to [talk about Muslim] holy issues’ as it will incite ‘hatred or war among people,’” Tiffany Gabbay wrote.
Mark Levin says the Obama administration has lied from day one about the circumstances surrounding the murders of our ambassador and his staff in Libya and are now in full-fledged cover-up mode, hiding behind an investigation by the FBI. All the while he says this president is playing politics instead of doing his job and he says this is very, very serious.
Allowing any suggestion that his administration was blindsided by a terrorist plot, especially on Sept. 11, would have cut against the preferred narrative for his campaign that Obama is deadly and vigilant.
It was not helpful, then, that one of the stories of the day immediately before the attacks was about how Obama had been eschewing in-person national security briefings, which allow for questions and answers with security officials, in favor of reading documents on his iPad while jetting between campaign events and fundraisers.
URGENT: Republican lawmakers hearing testimony from Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Operation Fast and Furious investigation, want more heads to roll and cite a key section of the IG’s report that appears to contradict Attorney General Eric Holder’s testimony.
”Today, after giving this many months of thought, I’m announcing the most important decision of my political career. I am stepping down from my roles in the Libertarian Party to rejoin the Republican Party and, most importantly, to elect Mitt Romney as President of the United States.”
Kevin at HILLBUZZ is reporting that government employees are incredulous that the U.S. State Department would appoint a gay man as ambassador to a Muslim country, especially now that it has come out that the Muslims who murdered Stevens also raped him repeatedly, before and after his death.
Bill Maher made a comedy/documentary called “Religulous” that’s most famous for mercilessly mocking Christianity. But what people forget is that the last twenty-minutes or so of the film make a damning case against Islam.
Bill Maher made a film that mocked Islam.
Oh, yes, he did.
Bill Maher also contributed $1 million to a pro-Obama super PAC.
The new policy leaves many questions about the Benghazi attack unanswered, potentially for a long time, such as the identity of the attackers, whether they were connected to protests earlier in the day in Cairo, what were the exact circumstances and cause of Stevens’s death, whether the administration had indications of the threat beforehand, and whether the consulate’s security was adequate or not.
In just several days, the dangerous ineptitude of U.S. foreign policy has been fully exposed. But instead of reporting this meltdown, the media use it to further hurt the candidate they oppose.
In his weekly address to the nation last week commemorating the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President Obama claimed that “we’ve strengthened our alliances while improving our security here at home.” He boasted that more than 3-1/2 years into his presidency, “our country is stronger, safer and more respected in the world.”
Those assertions would be fodder for the most blistering attacks from the mainstream media if this president were a conservative Republican instead of the furthest-to-the-left Democrat ever to sit in the Oval Office.
Less than a week after making such claims, the U.S. State Department had placed itself in an all-out crisis posture few Americans can ever remember happening before as mob attacks on U.S. embassies in the Middle East and North Africa expanded. The alert includes Marine FAST teams being deployed to Libya and Yemen.
Yet the U.S. response to the attacks has been questionable at best so far. The Obama administration has condemned the attacks, but their condemnation only makes us look weak and ridiculous in the eyes of the Muslim militants. French summed it up pretty good when he wrote:
“We do not know what is happening behind closed doors (where the administration’s talk and actions may be much tougher than we currently perceive), but the parade of public American condemnations for an asinine YouTube are ineffectual at best and counterproductive at worst. Some jihadists in fact will view the condemnations as proof of their power and influence over American leaders. They had their moments on September 11 and September 12. They need to soon experience a decisive American response.”
A Channel 2 Action News investigation found that the State Department is sending millions of dollars to save mosques overseas. This investment has received criticism as the United States makes an effort to slash nearly $4 trillion in government spending.Plenty of outrage following the announcement made Thursday afternoon by a government commission that suggested huge cuts to the budget, including eliminating the interest education for home mortgage. This juxtaposed with the United States investing millions to refurbish mosques as a good-will effort in Muslim countries has upset many taxpayer groups.
Just one of President Barack Obama’s last 47 tweets from his official campaign account mentioned the crisis unfolding in the Middle East or the four Americans who lost their lives in a fiery attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on Tuesday.
Among the tweets sent out by Obama’s Twitter account included a chance to win tickets to an Obama event hosted by Jay-Z and Beyonce, links to Obama merchandise and solicitations for $5 and $10 donations.
The only mention of the consulate assault came in the form of a retweet of the White House Twitter account:
Eastwood says, “Can you imagine being him, surrounded by people all the time? I’d hate it. But he seems to like it. He seems to like what I’d hate, all the trappings of power. He said that if he failed in his first term, he wouldn’t seek a second. Well, here he is – unemployment’s still up around 8 percent – and he’s doing anything he possibly can to keep power. There’s no way he’s going to give it up.”
It seems never to have occurred to this pair of bungling, egotistical morons that such statements in public, by high government officials, just might “offend” a few million zealous Muslims, all over the world? Did it not occur to Ms. Clinton that half the people in Libya were loyal supporters of Gaddafi, and just might, somewhere down the road, retaliate? Apparently not.
Nor did it occur to these criminally negligent overseers of the safety of not just Americans at home, but of our citizens serving in our embassies and consulates abroad, that after all this provocation, the anniversary of 9/11 just might be an appropriate time for heightened security that included at least giving our security personnel ammunition for their weapons. The Fraud in the White House has been far too busy playing golf and doing fundraisers with “celebrities” for His collapsing campaign to attend even half of the daily intelligence briefings.
Egan-Jones Ratings Co. said Friday it downgraded its U.S. sovereign rating to AA- from AA on concerns that the Fed’s new round of quantitative easing, or QE3, will hurt the U.S. economy. The ratings agency said the Fed’s plan of buying $40 billion in mortgage-backed securities a month and keeping interest rates near zero does little to raise GDP, reduces the value of the dollar, and raises the price of commodities.
The story isn’t over in Libya. Violence continues. And classified documents have been stolen from the consulate, reportedly including the names of Libyans working with the Americans. Safe houses across Libya are now unsafe.
Secretary of State Clinton is responsible for the security of our staff, consulates, and embassies abroad. If the Independent’s report is correct, she has violated the most basic standard of duty. Both she and her boss, President Obama, must be held responsible.
While experts agree that you can sip your way to post-exercise relief, traditional sports drinks aren’t always the best choice.
New research suggests drinking a natural beverage such as fruit juice, milk, or even beer after exercise could be more effective than highly-engineered beverages designed specifically to aid in workout recovery.
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was widely criticized Wednesday for his outspoken criticism of the Obama administration on its handling of the attacks on U.S. diplomatic stations in Egypt and Libya.
That criticism hasn’t only been coming from campaign operatives, but apparently from the media as well.
The Right Scoop blog captured the audio feed from Romney’s press briefing on the situation Wednesday morning, showing reporters covering Romney working together to base their question on that premise.
The Right Scoop reports that unnamed mainstream media journalists were caught on a live mic coordinating hostile questions for Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney before his press conference today on the U.S. embassy attacks.
Their goal was to make sure that no question would address the substance of the crisis but instead put Romney on the defensive about made-up mistakes in his criticism of President Obama.
Let’s recap. Yesterday, riots broke out at American embassies in Egypt and Libya. The American ambassador and three other American officials were murdered. Their bodies were dragged through the streets to a cheering mob. This all happened on the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, with the ridiculous pretext that throngs of muslims in two different countries were simultaneously offended over a stupid film no one knew existed. In Libya, at least, the murder of our diplomatic personnel is tantamount to an act of war. Yet, for Obama, the campaign must go on.
President Barack Obama apparently did not attend his daily intelligence briefing in the week leading up to the embassy attacks in Cairo and Libya, Breitbart.com reported.
Citing the White House calendar, Breitbart.com reported that Obama last attended such a briefing on Sept. 5. A recent study the Government Accountability Institute showed Obama only attended 43.8 percent of the daily briefs during his term.
“When Obama forgoes this daily intelligence meeting, he is consciously placing other priorities ahead of national security,” Thiessen wrote in the Post. “As The Post story that the Obama White House sent me put it, ‘Process tells you something about an administration. How a president structures his regular morning meeting on intelligence and national security is one way to measure his personal approach to foreign policy.’”
While it’s interesting the Democrats are on the offensive on the issue of foreign affairs (they have been on defense on national security ever since McGovern clinched the 1972 Democratic nomination), it’s an effective ruse. Yes, the president nabbed Bin Laden, but only after three previous raids were discussed, debated, and eventually cancelled thanks to Valerie Jarrett. On the other hand, Obama has surely stepped up his golf game. I got bin Laden – let’s cruise.
President Obama is touting his foreign policy experience on the campaign trail, but startling new statistics suggest that national security has not necessarily been the personal priority the president makes it out to be. It turns out that more than half the time, the commander in chief does not attend his daily intelligence meeting.
The words were scrawled on a note by Connecticut resident Randy Scott on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, when the World Trade Center was attacked. Scott perished that fateful day, but the note withstood the collapse of the towers and was passed from hand to hand for nearly ten years before it finally reached his family, according to the Stamford Advocate
Sen. Rand Paul is threatening to hold up Senate business until lawmakers address the case of jailed Pakistani doctor Shakil Afridi, after Afridi detailed in an exclusive jail-cell interview how the same spy-service interrogators who tortured him also revealed they consider Americans to be their “worst enemies.”
Afridi, the doctor who helped the CIA track Usama bin Laden, described brutal torture at the hands of Pakistan’s Inter-Service Intelligence. He said, in an interview with Fox News, that they told him “the Americans are our worst enemies, worse than the Indians.” Afridi said the country’s claims of cooperation with the U.S. are a sham to “extract” billions in U.S. aid.
“We haven’t seen anything like this in modern presidential history,” said Klein. “One person who is the best friend of the First Lady and the soulmate of the President, who is the last person to leave the Oval Office after a meeting, goes upstairs to the family quarters, has dinner with the President. Goes on vacation with them. Has his ear. Is de facto president of the United States.”
“Wow, that’s big,” said Doocy. “Well, let’s talk about her resume. Does she have the resume to have this job?”
No, she doesn’t,” replied Klein. “But what she does have is the trust of Michelle Obama, number one, whom she hired in Chicago, and the President, who uses her as his gatekeeper.”
The president had stopped at a campaign office in Port St. Lucie, Fla., to thank volunteers. Then, for the cameras, Mr. Obama was supposed to call two campaign workers who were out working on his behalf.
But when White House trip director Marvin Nicholson handed the president his personal iPhone, Mr. Obama couldn’t get it to work. A reporter who witnessed the scene said the president looked “befuddled.”
"It’s not clear he knows how to dial on an iPhone," the reporter wrote in a pool report.
Finally, Mr. Obama said, “Oh, I got to dial it in. Hold on, hold on. I can do this. See, I still have a BlackBerry.”
In the same vein, Woodward portrays Obama’s attempts to woo business leaders as ham-handed and governed by stereotype. At a White House dinner with a select group of business executives in early 2010, Obama gets off on the wrong foot by saying, “I know you guys are Republicans.” Ivan Seidenberg, the chief executive of Verizon, who “considers himself a progressive independent,” retorted, “How do you know that?”
Nonetheless, Seidenberg was later pleased to receive an invitation to the president’s 2010 Super Bowl party. But he changed his mind after Obama did little more than say hello, spending about 15 seconds with him. “Seidenberg felt he had been used as window dressing,” Woodward writes. “He complained to Valerie Jarrett, a close Obama aide. . . . Her response: Hey, you’re in the room with him. You should be happy.”
This is one must-see video. And I wager you pass the link on to many friends for their enjoyment.
It’s by Dr. Barbara Bellar, a motor-scooter-riding animal lover, Army veteran and Republican attorney who’s taking on a massive challenge of the Chicago political machine for a state Senate seat to combat the fiscal insanity in Barack Obama’s adopted home state, which isn’t an easy job, as you might imagine, so she made this hilarious homemade video that captures the colossal stupidity of ObamaCare in one (very long) sentence, like this one.
Dr. Bellar says she could use some help from people who agree with her and support the idea of political diversity in a place that doesn’t have much but gave us President Obama anyway.
Give the man his due. We have not seen his like in our times. His charisma and political skills are unmatched. If only they were admirably used.
Obama promised to unite the country and, his lie exposed, is now determined to win re-election by any means necessary. He may succeed.
Beware, America. The wraps have come off.
Obama is unbound and the delegates in the convention hall went home in full revolutionary spirit. They don’t want to unite America. They want to conquer it.
Barack Obama did build that.

A longtime House Democrat locked in a close race with another Democrat in Californiapicked up a surprising endorsement Monday: the backing of two Senate Republicans.
Rep. Howard Berman announced that he had the support of Sens. John McCain of Arizona, the 2008 GOP presidential nominee, and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. Berman, the top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, also secured the backing of Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn.
